Black Lace is an eye-catching beauty. And well she should be. She is sired by 13-time banner winner Quixotic and through her dam’s side, she is the 1/2 sister of Majestic Meadows renowned Jumanji - a 13-time champion and 3x get of sire as well as 2x herd sire of the year for both dark and light categories at the Futurity. Phenotypically, Black Lace is stunning - well balanced, beautiful head, substantial bone. While she appeared black at birth, it turns out that Lace is dark brown with lovely reddish copper highlights in the sun. Her fleece is soft, fine, and uniform. Her crias have all inherited her eye-catching phenotype and their fleeces are dense, long, fine, and show solid organization and uniformity. Silver Strike, her athletically built son out of Snowmass Stylish Enlightening and full brother to Watusi, is a junior herdsire. Her latest cria, Hallelujah - a daughter of the Snowmass Velvet line, just started her show career where judges noted her well-grown size for age and remarked on her uniform, soft, and exceptionally long fleece (nearly 6 inches) at 6 months and 2 days.
