King Richard is a genetic powerhouse and is pushing those genetics and excellent fleece characteristics into his cria. Part of his appeal is that his genetics are rare in the west. That fits in with our goal of providing proven but rare genetics for out-crossing to create hybrid vigor. Among his ancestors are AOA champion Accoyo Troubador, CCNF Archangel, Accoyo Elite, 13x champion Sunset Hills Citation, Reserve AOA champion Accoyo America North Star....and the list goes on. The lovely Celeste. When I first saw her, she was only 3 months old, but she was one of my first picks. Her conformation, presence, fleece…hit all the marks. And she and her dam, together were an impressive and inseparable pair.

Beyond her phenotype, her genotype was also stunning. On her sire’s side, just look at the Snowmass, Accoyo, and CasCadNac line up along with Sunset Hills. On her dam’s side, she brings in additional El Niño genetics as well as Elizaro and Kirwin from Crescent Moon, and Castanedo Bay - a favorite at Mile High alpacas. No wonder she garnered a Reserve Championship in her early show career, as well as several blues. Always the little lady in the herd she definitely commands attention and is a standout for white breeders.

She is on our sales list, although she is difficult to part with. She would be a great addition to anyone breeding for light or white alpacas, and she has some color in there, so a good candidate for improving the darker colors.
